Examples of Students' Performances Relating to Culture 2024

  • Audio and Performance Section for the 9th National University Affairs Promotion Committee Conference On November 1, 2024, the Audio and Performance Committee for the 9th National University Affairs Promotion Committee Conference, organized by the Division of Arts and Culture Promotion, created the performance titled "Nopphaburi Si Nakhon Ping Lum Kha Udom Kwam Ngam Thin Watthanatham" (The Precious Nopphaburi Si Nakhon Ping, Abounding in Cultural Beauty) to welcome participants of the National University Affairs Promotion Committee Conference at the Chalermphrakiat Sports Center, Maejo University.

  • Wai Kru (Teacher Homage Ceremony) Project for Arts in Music and Recreation for the Year 2024 On September 22, 2024, the Music and Recreation Section of the Division of Arts and Culture Promotion organized the Wai Kru (Teacher Homage Ceremony) Project for Arts in Music and Recreation for the Year 2024. Associate Professor, Acting Sub-Lieutenant Dr. Niroj Sinnarong, Assistant to the President, presided over the ceremony. Mr. Witchai Sukphrorna, Head of the Music and Recreation Section, delivered the report. Networks from Sansai Wittayakom School and Wat Mae Kaed Noi School were invited to participate in the ceremony and showcase their musical talents. Performances were presented by the Pong Lang Silpa Lan Chang Band of Maejo University, the Maejo Luk Thung Band, and the MJ BAND to pay homage to the teachers. The project was held to allow students and interested individuals with performing talents to express respect and worship to their late and living teachers who imparted knowledge in both the science and art of performance, as well as to bring auspiciousness to the students. It also provided an opportunity for alumni and current students to meet, exchange knowledge, and reunite with their instructors at the Anant Panyavee Plaza, Amnouy Yossuk Building, Maejo University.

  • Leading Students to Participate in the 22nd Higher Education Arts and Culture Festival The Division of Arts and Culture Promotion, University Office, led by Mr. Wuttiphat Ketpattanaphon, Head of Arts and Culture Conservation and Inheritance, led students to participate in the 22nd Higher Education Arts and Culture Festival titled "Daedard Sat Sil Phandin Sayam" (Abundant Arts and Sciences of the Siamese Land) from February 22-25, 2024, at Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. For this occasion, they presented the performance titled "Leela Aphirom: Applied Hmong Dance Art," which garnered significant interest from the audience. This event was organized by Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, and Nakhon Ratchasima Municipality, to provide a stage for youth to exchange experiences in cultural performances and recognize the value of local wisdom in the performing arts of each region. A total of 107 educational institutions participated, featuring 150 cultural performances.

  • Marching Band and Music Section, Phra Phirun (Rain God) Invitation Section, Organizing the Cultural Procession, Preparing Name Tags, and Faculty Flags The Division of Arts and Culture Promotion was assigned to operate the Marching Band and Music Section, the Phra Phirun (Rain God) Invitation Section, organize the cultural procession, and prepare name tags and faculty flags for the 46th Maejo University Royal Graduation Ceremony for the Academic Years 2022-2023 (46th event) held between February 18-19, 2024. Additionally, the Division of Arts and Culture Promotion organized the "Krua Im Oun Phi Phuean Nong Maejo Yindee Kab Bandit" (Warm Full Kitchen: Maejo Seniors and Juniors Congratulate the Graduates) activity, now in its 3rd year, to provide breakfast, snacks, fruit, and drinking water to graduates, parents, and accompanying persons. They also arranged a musical performance by the student band MJ BAND to create atmosphere and entertainment within the Royal Graduation Ceremony.

  • Participating in the "YOUR FUTURE OUR FOCUS CKK OPEN HOUSE 2023" Activity On February 6, 2024, the Division of Arts and Culture Promotion, through the Music and Recreation Section, led the student band MJ BAND, complete with lighting and sound system, to perform at the "YOUR FUTURE OUR FOCUS CKK OPEN HOUSE 2023" event for the Academic Year 2023, and the "Science Caravan" activity by NSM (National Science Museum) at Jak Kham Kanathon School, Lamphun Province. The event featured various activities such as academic skills competitions, a curriculum/academic market exhibition, educational guidance from various universities, and student-run activity booths.
